This is Pr. Dyan Lawlor at Upper Dublin Lutheran church, Ambler...We are gathering a work crew to go down to Haiti in the next 6 months whenever the ELCA is ready for us? We have 8 from one Sunday of asking..already..and have NO idea how to get into someone's list of workers...I hear GLoria Dei Huntington Valley also wants to go with crew...so I'm telling folks out in Synod..we're on board !!!!
Secondly, we are also hosting a benefit concert for Haiti on Feb. 28 at 3-5pm at Upper Dublin LC...monies going to Handicap International...a company that makes articial limbs..for victims losing legs and arms...Beth Dzwil, one of our members is getting a lineup of musicians, ballet dancers, speakers and powerpoint to make this a great draw and success!
